New Queensland Heeler Puppies Don't Like Oak Leaves

This is My Newest Update On The Puppies Born On May 27th

Pictures were all taken on Sunday Evening. We are just starting weaning this week. So much to grow.

Darby and Duelly The Parents

She's Looking At Me and I Know-She Doesn't Want To Be With Wild Duelly
We only have the two females left and they are beautiful! It was so hard this afternoon to take pictures. We've only had them out on the grass and not under the Oak Tree and I wanted pictures under the tree. They didn't like the soft, stickery feel of the leaves at all. Also, Darby continued to either lick my lens, or hit me on the forehead with the slobbery ball. My Steve was the spotter and he couldn't control either Laney or Darby from sitting right in front of me and honestly blocked my view everywhere.

Here are the two females that don't have deposit on: Six Photos of the Red Female and Four Photographs of the Blue Merle Female. The Red Female has a few blue-merle freckles coming-up on her tail and around her face and paws. She will also be tri-colored

We didn't put the mothers up or trying to get them to stay or stay-away. I wanted Darby to sit by me so the puppies wouldn't be afraid of the camera. It's been foggy here and my flash or a little red light would go on and it made them turn-away.

Here's some that we've already sold or are holding for pick-up:

I don't think Darby liked the stickery Oak leaves either, because she wasn't co-operating. Steve would set the puppies in front of the camera and just as soon as he stepped-back it was run to me and cuddle under my camera. I caught a lot of big faces in front of the lens. I was laying on a big blanket and holding my camera with my elbows.

This is the first time, really for my husband to help me. He's held one or two, but this made him laugh because they just run, jump, roll, and look at the camera like it's a scary robot. I'm going to miss them.

He was very picture shy and the flash scared him. Notice PeeWee Pirate trying to GET IN the photo!

The pups were also shy because they are still a couple days away of 4 weeks old. Still they're young, but we learned tonight they love to eat. Here's our PeeWee, Petey, PupPup and my personal favorite.

We've never had a pup so small. At first and yes, I suppose he is a "runt" Darby could've been breed discreetly a second time and this could be a premature boy. Or the genetics! Duelly's mother was a purebred Miniature Queensland Heeler and Darby could have thrown one very rare Miniature Queensland. He is very smart. Acts like he's Napoleon and in charge of everything. He wrestles with the biggest puppy and has absolutely the same personality as Duelly. I feed him goat's milk twice-a-day because the other bigger puppies push him away. He's spoiled, cuddled, and always the first to be picked-up by my grandchildren. All of my family just loves him. Kiely, my daughter that owns Darby said, "Give them back their deposit and keep him, Mom ... please?" And added, "Runts are the best!"

All I can say is our runt, Little was the best dog ever and we'll never forget her.

Here are a couple of pictures of Marnie's puppies.
Still small but the color on all six females is Blue Merle
Tri-Color. The legs will probably all be light brown freckled.

My Daughter Marnie's Puppies All Females

There's Six of These Little Girl Cuties!

Our new sire produces tri-colored merle puppies and if it happens that a dark red is desired, we have had them, but eventually some dark blue seems to come-in as they get older. The "Duelly"dogs have a well-proportioned shorter body, stocky and really strong. The puppies are held with $100.00 deposit and then at pick-up we receive the $250.00 for the full-price.

My phone number is (805) 794-4013 and I'll be posting Marnie's number when her pups get a little bit older. I can have her call you, she lives next door and all her puppies are going to be blue merle with light ginger points. Oh, and you can just text me, too... if you want. Easy.

  2. I'm completely in love with this sweet little male puppy! Today I said,"Where are you?" and he RAN to the side of the welping area and whined at me. Of course, he knows I have goat's milk for him, but he's just 4 weeks old! I'm going to cry when these puppies leave us. Thank you so much for your comment. I really appreciate it :)
