Finally, Some News!

Darby and Duelly have renewed their vows and Darby is going to be a mother again. There's no doubt and I don't need to take her to the vet for confirmation. This sweet mother has been bred. We've had lots of company lately and so has my daughter. Bad timing on the breeding-ugh, no words.

It's pretty ridiculous when our little 5 year old granddaughter comes over to our house and says, "Grandma, can they (Duelly and Darby) stay in the barn and breed?" "They make me sick!"

My Neighbors Are My Grandchildren

This is my little puppy girl on the left. All the "before" action is just too much. I didn't believe Steve when he was outside working and he said I really wanted to separate them, but then they'd play. He said, "I started counting." I told him, "No you didn't!" and he knew I wouldn't believe him so he took a VIDEO. "Accckkk! Dog porn".  The video was a bit screened or shrouded by the hedges, but even today, I have to feed them later than usual because they were busy on their own little world.

Are dogs usually like this for 2 weeks? I thought she'd never be bred again. Darby really seemed like she didn't like Duelly around her all summer. So counting the days from now ... it will be around or just after Halloween we will have tri-colored puppies. I want to say some red or some blue, but most the puppies from the last litter have had  added color to their coat as they've gotten older. Maybe only two out of the litter have seemed to be true reds. It's just by luck.

I have received lots of emails from the new families that bought puppies from me from the last litter and I'm so happy the puppies went to such wonderful homes. One of our puppies went to Newport Beach and her best friend sent us a beautifully bamboo, framed matted-picture of his dog at the beach. The most elegant frame in my house. It was done at Quality Picture Framing (949) 646-5080 in Costa Mesa, CA It's a treasure!

My Duelly As a Puppy
My grandchildren were sneaking in to surprise me with my puppy, Duelly. I've learned more about his linage recently. His mother is a registered miniature Queensland Heeler. The sire is small but not small enough to be registered as miniature, but he's also a registered Heeler. Duelly needs a Xanax.
