Now, my Internet is down and by golly, we will have it tomorrow, even if we need to change providers.
The GOOD news is this: We have puppies that were born on Oct. 25th, 2012. There were eight in the litter and four girls and four boys. The vet visit was with my husband, while I was away in Laramie, Wyoming and Darby started having puppies right next to him as he watered the lawn.
Steve made a nest in the barn and carried her and her puppies there and waited. He stayed with her until after midnight to make sure all the puppies were born. He did a wonderful job making her feel comfortable and Darby, this is the easy part--it's the "now" that's so hard. She's just starting to wean them.
My husband loves their beautiful tails and doesn't like to hear crying puppies, so he had the vet just take the dew-claws off and so ... these pups have tails. Some are more brown than blue and some are more blue than brown; but I think as they age they will all be tri-colored. All have the little white blaze on top.
The sire is Duelly. Duelly's mother is a miniature, tri-colored Queensland and his sire is a dark, stout, tri-colored blue.

I tried to put a bucket in the picture so his size would be easier to gauge.

Nice Picture! One is under my feet and I didn't count 'em! |
So to just get a glimpse at the puppies I put them in a horse feeder and took a picture with my phone for Facebook. I'm sick that I lost so many puppy pictures this afternoon. However, they had the greatest playtime ever and got a lot of attention.
The ones that are already sold: The really big, big girl in the front, left. The little brown girl in the center with a little brown spot between her mask and has a very brown nose. And the other one is hard to see, but she is back center girl that has one patch over her eye.
There are four available boys and little peewee girl in the back. There's a boy missing he has no large spots and was right under my feet while I took this picture. I promise to do better. In just one week all have freckles, everywhere and I can't wait to use (AGAIN) my big camera and show the speckled puppies. I love their cute little noses and legs covered with freckles.
Hoping all this is saved and loads-up. Tomorrow is a good day for pictures and I'm planning to make another go at it.
